Q: What does “cottage licensed” mean?
A: Being cottage licensed means we are approved to sell homemade, shelf-stable baked goods under Rhode Island’s cottage food laws. Doughpamine is fully licensed and compliant, allowing us to sell our products directly to you.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Middletown, Rhode Island, near the Chili’s on West Main.
Q: How do I order?
A: Order online each week for complimentary local delivery on Friday between 4-6 PM. Preorders open Saturday and close Tuesday, with a $20 minimum order.
Q: Where do you deliver?
A: We deliver to Middletown, Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island only.
Q: Is there a local delivery charge?
A: No, we offer complimentary local delivery.
Q: Can I cancel my already placed order?
A: Yes, a full refund for prepaid food orders cancelled at least 30 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery. Cancellations made less than 30 hours before pickup or delivery are not eligible for a refund.
Q: Does someone need to be home for my delivery?
A: Yes, products will not be left unattended at the door. Deliveries must be received in person on Fridays between 4-6 PM. If you are unavailable at that time, please contact us in advance to arrange pickup in Middletown, if available. If no one is home and no alternative arrangement has been made, the order may be forfeited.
Q: How do I store my bread or bagels?
A: For bread or bagels eaten within a few days of purchase, store them in a paper bag or bread box on the counter. For longer storage, wrap them in plastic wrap or place them in a freezer-safe zipper bag, and freeze for up to two months for best quality.
